Meet "Goose"

Our sweet wildflower in human form came to us about a month early during one of the hottest summers on record. Her real name isn't Goose, we just call her that on all of our public pages to protect her privacy. Goose is the nickname we gave her as a baby because she would make little goose sounds when she was grumpy. She is now 3, and has taken on the family theme of loving music, Halloween, and being outside - whether that is nurture or nature, we may never know. She is currently obsessed with animals, but especially adores bats, cats, birds, and unicorns, and she insists that her room be decorated with cutesy boo-ghosts and crows year-round. One of our friends described her tastes as "Haunted Enchanted Forest Aesthetic."

 

She's joyful, loving, and spunky, with a rhythm all her own. She has a very eclectic taste in music, with favorite songs ranging from "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" by Tears for Fears to "Shake it Off" by Taylor Swift, and can sing along with almost any song if she's heard it once. She's been begging us to start her into ice-skating lessons, and also enjoys hiking right alongside us and playing soccer with Reed. 

 

She is great with other kids and often watches out for the younger siblings of her friends during play-dates to make sure they are taken care of. She loves the idea of being a big sister, and prays every night that we can "find a baby so I can teach that baby to ride a bike and share my stuffies".
